Eugenia is the first Singaporean woman to break the 6m mark; her previous national record was 5.94m.

They clocked 49.64 seconds, the fastest time of the round, and improved it to 48.22 in the final en route to gold. It was a new championship record, breaking the previous mark of 48.78 set by their school seniors in 2006.
