Example, we had an 8am pass to Lake Louise, but we wanted to start our day at Moraine so when we got to Lake Louise, we got off and went directly to the Moraine shuttle line. Did our thing at Moraine then hopped back over to Louise (which honestly felt like Disneyland by the time we got there, aka why I said as early as you’re allowed lol).

However, I was only able to get a reservation in the late afternoon. I understand I needed that reservation to get the shuttle to Moraine Lake.

2023年6月7日 · You cannot drive to Moraine Lake and must take a shuttle, and it can be combined with the shuttle to Lake Louise. Should be reserved in advance. The Banff Gondola, as in the one up Sulphur Mountain, should be reserved in advance if you want to secure your desired time. Otherwise you run the risk of tickets selling out.

You probably won’t be able to see moraine lake unless you hike or bike in. I’d suggest driving to Peyto Lake viewpoint. Stopping on your way back at Bow lake and then turning towards Yoho national park and going to Emerald Lake and on your way back Takakkaw falls :) quite a bit of driving but we’ve done it in a day and it was rewarding!!

2023年7月25日 · Hi, I plan on visiting Banff National park either on this Thursday or Friday, and I plan on going to Lake Louise and hopefully Moraine Lake. I plan on using roam transit to get there as I don’t have a car. However, all of the morning times (which is when I want to leave) are sold out on the roam transit website.
