The paint "dries" like most think of paint drying, it does not cross-link like activated paint. This means that rustoleum is significantly softer than urethane or BC/CC. Its bond is also purely physical and has very little chemical bond to the primer since you used rattle can primer.

2021年6月15日 · Very, very few paint shops are going to let an inexperienced customer get their hands on and operate their very expensive equipment. The most frugal option would be to not paint the car. It’s a $1,300 minivan, it will probably explode in a few thousand miles anyways and cost more to repair than it’s worth.

2020年4月20日 · Depending how bad the rust itself is, the rust repair will be much more difficult than the paint job. The other issue is that roller paint such as rustoleum will not match your current paint color, so you'll either need to live with the mismatch or do the whole care which I definitely would not recommend.

Depending how you load your paint on, it might help if after you load, but before you go up to the ceiling, hold the roller at a 45° angle and take a little paint off the two edges.

You can get 2K paint matched and mixed in a spray can... Spray the base, then cover in 2K clear..... Or just do a 1K base and then the 2K clear. Do not do this around anyone's property (e.g., other cars) and you need to wear a respirator which can be had for around $30. The paint will be around $30-40 per can for the match base.
