2023年2月5日 · I just had an Elantra that had this issue a couple of days ago. Wasn’t too bad, the hardest part is releasing the chain tensioner after installing the new exhaust camshaft and cvvt. Other than that making sure the timing marks are correct.

Timing chain slack, faulty tensioners, or timing gears that have looseness are the most common causes. Remove the exhaust OCV and have a helper start the engine momentarily. If there is no or very little oil out of the hole, the oil passage is restricted and the engine would need to be repaired or replaced.

If you had code P0017 and replace timing solenoids, and then replaced the sprockets and the code went away, and after 60 miles, you now have code P0014, you are correct. Most likely the chain jumped time and will need readjustment.
