Anthony James Allmendinger (born December 16, 1981), nicknamed "the Dinger,” [1] is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet ZL1 for Kaulig Racing. Allmendinger's professional racing career began on the American open-wheel circuit.
