2022年3月6日 · Technically it's true for some angels (although it's possible that those descriptions are symbolic, but I don't know for sure), there were, as other people have already said, angels who looked just like people. As a meme, it was at first really funny, but now it just seems to have worn out its welcome.

2024年3月19日 · Fun fact - the beings that the Bible actually calls angels look like humans. The other do called "biblically acurate angels" are mostly seraphim, cherubim and thrones, which are generally considered angels but aren't called as such in the actual Bible and weren't God's messengers, they were close to His throne and doing other stuff.

However, the talk about "biblically accurate" angels was started by Cracked Magazine back in 2010. They later published this article. One cannot expect a humor magazine to be that accurate.

2022年3月6日 · It's accurate with some artistic liberties like the size and colors. There are different types of angels described in the Bible, and the video shows only 3. The most commonly depicted angels in the Bible are similar to men and not as surreal.

2022年8月10日 · Others like Genesis seem to present them as a pillar of fire/cloud (Ex 14:19). Other angels such as the Cherubs on the veil of the temple had wings and were likely animal in form. Seraphs were possibly flying snakes, or possibly not. New Testament angels seem to be mostly human though they also seem to frighten people when they show up.
