The Buick Model B was Buick's first model as an independent company, later becoming part of General Motors in 1908. It was built in Jackson, Michigan. A model B was exhibited in 1905 at the New York Auto Show as a promotion of the model C which would be the same. [1]

The Model B Buick was powered by an inline two-cylinder engine with valve-in-head, cast-iron block, a float feed carburetor, and a displacement size of 159 cubic-inches. They had a two-speed planetary transmission with mechanical brakes on two wheels.

The Buick B model was the first series produced independently by the company before it became a part of General Motors in the early 1900s. The car was built in Michigan and became public in 1905 at the New York Auto Show.
