2009年6月17日 · I have a bucket of aquachem chlorine tabs left over from last season that have turned yellow. I opened the lid and everything inside the bucket is yellow. Does this mean the tablets have gone bad? If I cannot use them anymore how should I dispose of them properly?

2016年7月24日 · To raise my FC level I use Drytec Calcium Hypochlorite Granular -- 68% strength. I have also been using 3" tabs to stabilize the chlorine. My initial understanding is that chlorine can be depleted very quickly by the sun (and we get plenty here in FL!), so some stabilization is needed. I'd like to reconsider this approach in light of the TFPC .

2010年5月28日 · The tablets are probably trichlor. If you have 8-oz tabs, in your pool every two tabs would add about 10ppm FC and 6ppm CYA. Occasional use of trichlor, e.g. for vacations or when you want to raise CYA a bit, is fine. Habitual use will eventually lead to excessively high CYA levels, and the only practical way to reduce CYA is replacing water.

2018年8月6日 · After increasing the chlorine to a 4, w/ Dichlor, I took a sample to the pool store. All the numbers were great. That was Saturday, today (Monday) I am down to zero chlorine again. (1) Shouldn't there be chlorine in the pool if there are 3-4 tabs (of decent size) in the chlorinator? Or could it still be going to 0-.5?

2019年6月13日 · My chlorine tabs got wet. I saw other threads that said the tabs can be fished out/dried out. I’m not sure how long they have been wet, but it could be from last season. Is it still ok to dry out and use them? What about all the standing water? Is it safe to dump in gravel? There’s almost a full 10 lb container of water/ tabs (mostly water).
