2022年2月28日 · What is the difference between these "Disconnected" icons?

So there's a hot topic on what the blood spatter means when a player disconnect, most people seemingly believing blood spatter on a Disconnect Icon means a player hit "Leave Match" in the menu and no blood spatter on the disconnect icon meaning they were disconnected due to a poor internet connection, or other technical issue.

2023年3月13日 · It's a myth that the icons mean anything special. If the survivor trash talks you in EGC after a disconnect, it's a rage quit. So is disconnecting on death hook while being hooked. Or DC on hook in general. Otherwise, it's a bit difficult.

As you can see here in this screenshot the two Icons from the Disconnect / Ragequitt ones are different. The one above is bloody and the one under it has scretches. Does this mean, one is a Ragequitt (cause the player is angry/mad and quittet for example) and the other one a Disconnect (because of bad internet for example)?

2016年12月3日 · I know the symbol next to the player's name changes to the disconnect symbol (two separated plugs with a red x) when he disconnects before he gets killed but does it also change that way when a player leaves after he got sacrificed?

2018年9月29日 · heh, I thought that it was some weird 'hook' shape relating to how the survivor was disposed of... but today realised that it's actually a power supply disconnect symbol. I know, dumb. So I guess it's either someone legitimately losing connection... or rage quitting??
