I would love to listen to rock bands from the current generation who have similar kinds of music or are doing something interesting. Of the modern artists I am mostly unaware of the rock scenario. I love some pop artists like Adele, Olivia (although she mixes some elements of rock) and Dua Lipa. I would love to explore current Rock music.

It gets heavy at times and it gets really soft at times, but more than any other list, this will tell you where music was during this time period.

2022年3月31日 · I think it SEEMS like modern rock sucks because the first like 3 layers you go below the surface it's all trashy overproduced swag rock or pop indie music with no catchy melodies, but that's just because the nature of new music now is everything is way more niche. 2022年4月29日 · I don’t think I’m a music snob but I am very particular about the kind of music I like. I’m 26 but 98 percent of the music I listen to is 60s/70s/80s rock/pop. That was the best music, in my opinion. However, there are some modern bands that I like that I think sound a lot like that kind of rock.

plenty of songs from the modern top 100 will survive and be remembered. the thing that has changed is that the internet has killed radio. having access to a huge catalog of music made it so i havent had to listen to the radio in 10 years. there is more great music being made now then ever before with the accessibility of high quality recording.

I don't think there is a "modern" sound for rock (or even pop) in the current age because music is extremely fragmented for one dominant sub-genre to exist like it did in the past decades. Plus, what currently gets labelled as "pop rock" like you mentioned is really just pop music made by bands instead of solo artists. As for my opinion on it, I really don't care. There's plenty of quality rock music in the underground/indie scene that I can enjoy.
