I have read all of the Sailor Moon and Sailor V manga. So I can safely say that I agree with you on the art style. I'm also an artist so I can't, for the love of me, understand how you can publish works that look so unfinished. Using "comedy" and "style" as an excuse to draw hands THAT badly, is a shame. The fights are also VERY confusing.

Nah, I first got into Sailor Moon when it aired on a german tv station nearly 30 years ago and since read the manga and I think the manga is better. The anime has many episodes which are pure filler just to make the series longer and many characters are butchered (Rei, Mamoru, Chibiusa hell, even Usagi)

2022年6月4日 · The second is Sailor Moon Crystal, it started in 2014 and is a faithful adaptation of the manga. Super unpopular opinion, but this is actually my favorite version. It has three seasons that cover the first three story arcs-- you'll see in the third season that the animation changes for the better.

2021年5月31日 · the eternal edition has a bigger page size, is printed on slick paper, has more colored illustrations, has an updated translation, and has more chapters per volume (there are only 10 volumes condensed down from the old edition's 12 plus the 2 short story volumes. short stories are included in the eternal editions, spread out.)
