I guess I'll have to either get physical copies or save up for an Xbox Series X|S (or, for '06, get a physical copy and use an Xbox 360 emulator).

I'm down to my last resort, a physical copy. When you put a disc in an Xbox 360, there is an option to install the game to the internal hard drive or an external one.

Please put games like sonic 06 and many more to preserve video game history. It sucks how some games won’t be playable on future consoles. Just saying please consider doing this after many games are being lost forever digitally.

The games that I think should be added to backwards compatibility are: Xbox - Sonic Riders, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Heroes. I've seen no logical answers as to why they are not available for backwards compatibility, and it sucks to see them referred to in Sonic Generations, another backwards compatible game, but not be able to actually play them
