2010年3月11日 · I have been double dipping in my calcs, counting the 1500W laundry circuit plus the full 30A/2P washer/dryer load. I think going forward I should continue showing the laundry circuit with the "eliminate it if you can" note, but should stop calculating the laundry circuit twice - just go with the 30A/2P load only.

2011年6月29日 · I have also seen them require just a DP 30 amp circuit. I have also seen washer that require 240V. There are a lot of different units out there. I would calculate using 1500 watts for the washer and 5000 for the dryer since I believe the code requires the 1500 watts for the washer anyway.

I am told they use the same 230 v 30 amp plug and cord as a regular dryer and the washer is on the same circuit . The same thing is essentially being installed: a washer and a dryer.

2015年4月22日 · IMO, there is a required 120V receptacle needed for the washer and since it is closer than 6' to a sink it would require gfci. The 240V 30 amp receptacle does not require one. rcarroll

I would think that would fall in the continuous load category. 691a x 1.25 which would be 863 amps in just washer and dryers. Then have to factor in lighting, hvac, water heater, receptacles.
