Taj Mahal: Take an umbrella. It's hot but the umbrella will enable you to enjoy everything without worrying about the sun. Take a pair of sunglasses if you have them. I found it very hard to see my mobile screen when taking photos when next to the Taj Mahal.

The time when you’d be getting pictures without anyone in them isn’t going to be the time when there’s the best light — and if there is an actual sunrise, there’ll be people around by the time it comes up.

The food was good and it was so humbling to sit on the floor and eat the same food with everyone else, leveling all of the rigid eating customs that rule daily Indian life.

I was blown away.) and the guide asserted that Shah Jahan had the workers' hands amputated so that they couldn't ever create a masterpiece to rival the Taj. 2024年2月29日 · tl;dr: It's definitely possible to make a day visit to Taj Mahal from Delhi. But if budget is a big constraint, Delhi itself is very beautiful to roam around. The most convenient way would be to hire a cab for the entire trip. Cab driver will pick you from your place in Delhi, take you to Taj Mahal in Agra and drive you back.

2020年11月30日 · We were taken to a marble workshop that were supposedly run by the family of craftsmen that restore the Taj. The cheapest thing there was coasters for $50 to $30,000 tables. Extreme poverty and wealth inequality does exist, but the market around tourist spots isn't really what comes to mind.
