Triptans come in several forms: oral pill, nasal spray, or subcutaneous injection. The injections are my go-to abortive if I don’t have high-flow oxygen available. The oral and nasal options don’t work fast enough for cluster headaches, but a triptan pill can work as a preventative treatment.

Only my bi-nasal occlusion glasses did that the first day, and they've not been working as well since my faceplant. I'm not even sure any of my meds are working very well right now. I'm still on Aimovig, botox and Nurtec, but hitting 15-20 days a month again.

<p>Sumatriptan tablets stopped working for me years ago and my life saver Zomig recently failed me. I&#39;d tried other triptans before but out of sheer desperation suggested to my neurologist the sumatriptan nasal spray. I Have no idea what prompted me to go back to the drug again.

I started out with Migranal, which is a nasal form of DHE and while it worked initially my body became tolerant.
