2022年10月4日 · I've spent the last two days fighting with tesla roadside service to even properly move the car. 5 tow truck companies have come out and refused to touch it. Tesla won't look at the car without it being at their service center, they constantly close my tickets.

2024年6月30日 · So I’m on the market for an EV sedan, and I’ve always really liked the look of the Tesla Model S. I got to test drive a new one, and there were a lot of features that felt really weird. The main one is the turn signal buttons, instead of the stalk. absolutely hate that and I can’t change that any way.

While both cars have the same quoted time of 3.1 seconds 0-60, strangely enough, the Model 3 feels quite a bit faster than the Model S Long Range in my experience. I think part of this is due to the stiffer suspension. The Model S being a smoother ride almost dampens the G force of a launch, at least for me.

2022年4月16日 · Even after 2016, everything you hear about Tesla's mostly applies to the 2018+ Model 3/Y. I went into to buy a 2019 Model S and walked out buying a 2019 Model 3. It was LIGHT YEARS beyond the Model S as a consumer car. It wasn't until 2020 that the Model S was better in every way to the Model 3.

2019年7月1日 · It's not running on the old hardware for either the Model S or Model X, both got new infotainment upgrades after the Model 3 got released and people started complaining the new software releases back then was running slow because the hardware was older. this needs Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

But if you're counting 100% down to like 15% That seems totally normal for the older cars. I drove 100% down to 5% in my 2017 Model S last winter and got 165 miles, but that's Nebraska freeway speed (around 90mph) and February cold weather. The old Model S does particularly bad in winter with the large resistive heaters and less insulated glass.

Previous hardware version, HW 2.5, first appeared in August 2017, and is fully upgradable to HW3 with purchase of the Full Self-Driving software package that includes the computer unit retrofit.
