There used to be a website that listed dozens of alternate maps for Diplomacy (not BGG), but I can't seem to find it now. Does anyone have a link to it? http://webdiplomacy.net/variants.php has a few nice ones. What are you guys talking about? The Diplomatic Pouch isn't dead and neither is the variant page.

2013年12月5日 · I've found a number of variant maps for Diplomacy, but without fairly extensive playtesting I can't tell which are well-balanced and fun. Does anyone here have any preferences for good diplomacy maps for numbers of players other than seven?

Rules for playing Diplomacy on a standard map with less than the full complement of seven players. Taken from the pre-1971 Rulebook. This variant can be used with any map. The rules have been heavily modified to include blood lines, royal families, marriages, binding agreements, titles, and more.

Two player game--just use normal maps and fight WWI. Other players, check out Ari-Di, Diplomacy Hundred, Diplomacy Classical, and Machiavelli.

If playing in person you can always print out the variant maps and play on them with the pieces from the original set. I actually have a few of my favorite variant maps printed out as posters and I play on the board with Catan pieces and Meeples

2021年2月26日 · Many of those maps are pretty niche - and I can only assume that the interface for the classic diplomacy map took a bit of effort to make. But I was wondering if one or maybe two very well-loved alternate maps would ever be implemented? The main one I have in mind is the Ancient Mediterranean variant for 5 players.

The chaos variant is played by 34 players, each owning a single supply center on the standard Diplomacy map. The game starts in Winter of 1900 at the adjustment phase. Each player starts out choosing which type of unit they wish to build and progressing from there.

2006年9月24日 · Intimate Diplomacy is a two-player variant that uses the standard map. Each player plays one power, and the remaining five powers are "mercenaries", control of which for each turn goes to the highest bidder for that turn. Standard Diplomacy rules apply, plus special rules that apply to the credit allocation and bidding.
