Second, while you posted in Surface Pro (first generation), it doesn't sound like that is the device you have. Surface Pro 1 and 2 had a capacitive stylus and Surface Pro 3 and up use an active N-trig based stylus. Official Microsoft pens for Surface Pro 1 and 2 aren't available, but the current Surface Pen works with Surface Pro 3 and up.

I ran the HP setup program and it hangs. I tried to install it manually using instructions I found for the HP P1006 on Windows 11 but they don't work.

2024年9月15日 · Hello I have an HP Printer and installed the HP Smart App on my Surface Pro X. It used to work fine, but as of June 2024, it does not even load. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometimes if i click on the icon repeatedly , a window just says app updating or the HP Smart App blue program window pops up and then disappears/closes.

2020年1月17日 · Just to confirm, is this the HP Active Pen you have? It stated under System requirement that the pen work on Windows 10 which the Surface Pro 7 has. Some additional features or functions of the pen might not work but when it comes to writing or using the pen as mouse, I think it will work.

I'm trying to print out with HP mfp 3301, but it failed to install.
2024年11月15日 · I bought this laptop and installed the HP MFP 3301 using the printer and scanner settings. The printer recognized the signal, so its display turns on, but it did not print anything. All other people's laptops can print, so it's not the printer issue. I installed the HP Smart app, HP Assistant, and HP Print & Scan Doctor. It did not find any issues.

The HP 8720 is rather old, so I would not mind buying a new printer, but I need to know that any new printer would be compatible. I have searched without success for Surface Pro 11 compatible printers. Surely somewhere someone has found a printer that will work.
