Two types of hydraulic steering? - TractorByNet
Aug 9, 2016 · The steering where there is no linkage but fully hydraulic between the steering wheel and the cylinders has been around I know for over forty years at least on some heavy equipment. Any machine that has a steering wheel in a cab that can rotate of course can not have linkage the full system.
Hydraulic blunder on Kubota L3400 - TractorByNet
May 27, 2014 · I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the front end loader/3 point hitch on my Kubota L3400 were a bit slow to respond. In addition, my power steering seemed a little weak. I continued to run the tractor despite these issues and eventually the hydraulic system failed (the bucket and hitch dropped to the ground).
Can I run power steering from tractor hydraulics? - TractorByNet
May 9, 2011 · I have an Oliver 550 with hydraulic steering. This was a conversion done before I acquired it and it would seem that the conversion was done this way because the steering box wore out or otherwise became unusable. The pump driving the system right now is an automotive power-steering pump driven by a skinny little belt.
hydraulic steering problem - TractorByNet
Apr 17, 2008 · Steering is a std 4 port/hose hydraulic orbital steering valve with one double acting cylinder on the front axle. My problem is it turns right fine, but takes a LOT of steering wheel pressure to go left. So I assume the steering valve has blown a seal vs anything to do with the cylinder up front? Thanks in advance.
GC2310 Hydraulic System Problem - TractorByNet
May 27, 2011 · The Tractor movement feels normal, the steering was hard to tell since dragging the bucket, but I thought it was slugish. I had removed my backhoe about 30-45 min before the problem began, it is a two hose system, and I have confirmed proper connection together between the two lines that would feed the backhoe.
TC33DA Removal and Replacement of Hydraulic Steering Cylinder
Jun 23, 2015 · I suspect the piston has separated from the actuating rod inside the cylinder since I could find no evidence of leakage externally. I ordered a new steering hydraulic cylinder from Messick's ($686 plus shipping - Ouch! ) and it arrived yesterday. My tractor is a 2004 TC33DA 3x9 manual transmission with front end loader.

Jun 18, 2014 · It's the [190] TRANSMISSION - POSITION CONTROL . If you still have hydraulics for the transmission and steering, your pump may be ok. The control valve pictured prioritizes flow. I believe transmission first, steering second, FEL/3pt last.
B20 Hydraulic Problem - TractorByNet
Mar 27, 2006 · Hello, while using my B20 yesterday the power steering and loader suddenly stopped working. The 3pt works fine, as does the transmission. The only warning sign I had was for about 2 minutes before it all stopped the steering didn't feel as strong and the loader was a little slower, not much though.
BX2200 Steering - Hydraulic Training - TractorByNet
Aug 21, 2006 · Sounds like the seals in the steering cylinder could be leaking -or- you've still got alot of air in the hydraulic system. Theres a procedure on how to use the 3ph to bleed off the system in the owners manual. Try that 1st. Good luck
