What exactly does the "Regional Sports Fee" cover?
Oct 15, 2024 · Multiple decades. Xfinity's lack of communication during the Chicago Regional Sports rollout was alarming. I understand that Xfinity needed to meet and discuss before rolling out a plan for their customers; however, having us jump through hoops buying, assembling, and mounting antennas, etc, to watch Chicago sports, was deplorable on their part.

Oct 16, 2023 · The Local Sports channels were removed from the local 125 channel list and moved to the 185 channel Ultimate TV package, which costs $18.50 more per month (plus $10.55 for regional sports.) But the 125 channel package still has the $10.55 fee for Regional Sports....though there are no regional sports left!!! So this fee covers nothing.

If anything it shows incompetence on Comcasts part for not being transparent with their customers on the real reason why CHSN is not on Comcast yet. Ill just say it here. You want CHSN to be on the premium tier AND you want to charge another obnoxious Regional Sports Fee on top of it.
