2024年8月4日 · All the others are USB-A ports. Two in the console storage area, two in the rear of the console and two in the 3rd row seat armrest. I need a USB-C hub in the glovebox to handle the USB drive for the Sentry mode/dashcam, and another to power the LED lights I want to add. I want a USB-C in the console area too.

2022年3月15日 · USB hub. This can prevent connected devices from charging or from being recognized by the Media Player. (Comment: Many use hubs without problems.) - Do not use the rear USB ports (for Dashcam), as they are solely meant for charging devices.

It all seems to be working ok except for I have noticed that the hub and drives are all warm, on occasion very warm. The other day I tried to use the internet browser and it wouldn't open any websites.

But there have been several reports of Tesla losing contact with downstream hub-attached USB sticks after sleeping. You can pull and re-attach the hub the force recovery, but that'a hassle.

2024年7月6日 · This USB Hub might work for a type USB-A data ports in the glove box. It's a USB hub from an older Tesla Model S. P/N: 1004815-01-b Has the compatible input/output jacks, for hub, plus two USB Type A sockets. Should work with available USB cables that Tesla uses.

I have a Sandisk Multimate 3.0 reader with Samsung Pro Endurance 128GB micro SD card (for Dashcam and Sentry recordings) and USB thumb drive with some music also connected to the passive USB hub.
