The quickest, easiest, flavorful way to preserve your basil is simply putting it in a food processor with a little olive oil. It will last 2-3 months in the refrigerator. Store it in an airtight jar. I used 3 cups of tightly packed basil leaves and 4 TBSP of olive oil. You can use any variety of Basil or even mix them.
