Today, Dec. 19, 2023, the Lone Peak Tram brought its first passengers to the top of Lone Mountain. The day-long grand opening celebrated completion of the tram’s construction, which began in May 2022. First to ride the tram were non-profit auction donors who bid on seats, supporting the Big Sky Community Organization, Gallatin River Task Force and Morningstar Learning Center.
